Becoming a Member

IMPORTANT: before joining or renewing, ensure you have a current Working With Children Check, and it is linked to our club (details below)

Apollo Bay Surf Life Saving Club welcomes new members. Our primary function is to train and provide volunteer lifesavers and ensure Apollo Bay has a patrolled beach from November through to Easter. The Club is run by volunteers and we rely on members for their support to ensure we can deliver services to the community and activities to our membership.

Your annual membership fees ensure the Club remains viable and has the vital equipment and training to provide lifesaving services, maintain equipment, facilities and deliver essential programs such as Nippers, Surf Rescue Certificate and Bronze Medallion.

The Committee encourages members to become involved in the activities of the Club – volunteer lifesaving, nippers, fundraising, social get-togethers and we welcome members to stand for positions on the committee and subcommittees. If you are keen to get involved, please let us know.

For further information, please email the club at
