CLUBHOUSE WORKING BEE

Our clubhouse is almost ready, and we need a few extra hands to help with the finishing touches before our Opening Celebration the following weekend!

Come along to our Clubhouse Working Bee and help us get everything looking its best. Whether you’re handy with a paintbrush, know your way around a toolbox, have a green thumb, or are simply happy to lend a hand, there’s a job for everyone.

WHEN

Saturday 22 August | 9am–2pmSunday 23 August | 9am–12pm

Come for an hour, a morning or as long as you can – every bit of help will make a difference.

WHAT WE’LL BE TACKLING

There’ll be plenty happening across the weekend, including:

• Painting inside and out

• General cleaning

• Attaching timber slats to the outdoor shower enclosure

• Installing feature boards/panels on the external kitchen walls around the wall-mounted surf boat

• Gardening

• Relocating Nipper board racks into the new store

• Tip runs

• And plenty of other finishing jobs around the clubhouse!

There are tasks for all skill levels, so everyone is welcome. Members with building or trade experience would also be greatly appreciated to lend their expertise and help provide a little direction with some of the trickier jobs.

MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK

This is the final push to get our clubhouse ready for its Opening Celebration, and it would be fantastic to see plenty of our club community there.
